Collection

The Marlborough Art Gallery (formerly the Millennium Art Gallery) has a developing and comprehensive collection of local, national and international art, from the late 19th century to the present. Most acquisitions are made via donation and gift.

Nationally significant artists who have a connection with Marlborough are represented in the Gallery’s permanent collection. Artists represented include: Philippa Blair, Bill Culbert, JBC Hoyte, Iosefa Leo, J S Parker, Don Peebles,TM Woollaston....

A rotated display of works from the permanent collection features in the Gallery's foyer as well as in annual collection exhibitions.
